Pre-Accepted Temporary Structures
In the past, structural justifications (SJ) may be required for extensive temporary structures for Temporary Place of Public Entertainment Licence (TPPEL) applications based on Appendix 8 of "A Guide to Application for Places of Public Entertainment Licences for Places Other Than Cinemas and Theatres" issued by Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD). Under this streamlining measure, temporary structures with SJ accepted in previous TPPEL application could be reused/re-erected at the same location without repeated SJ submission, provided that they are reused/re-erected under the supervision of an authorized person/registered structural engineer. The streamlining measure is applicable for both indoor and outdoor TPPEL.
