Welcome to the Buildings Department Central Data Bank. Users are reminded of the use of the Central Data Bank and their responsibilities when using the Data Bank as set out in the Central Data Bank Important Notes. Further, it should be noted that all relevant legislation including the Buildings Ordinance has to be complied with and the supply of any information contained in the Central Data Bank is without prejudice to the requirements to comply with all relevant legislation including the Buildings Ordinance.
Please note that the Central Data Bank (CDB) contains only historical information on material acceptance in respect of a building development. Therefore, the Buildings Department will not accept direct application from a supplier, manufacturer or alike for including its products in the CDB.
