Issuance/Compliance status of Orders
POINTS TO NOTE
- This function allows users to search for the issuance/compliance status of the following statutory orders ("Relevant Orders") issued under the Buildings Ordinance (Cap.123) by the Buildings Department (BD) from 2017* onwards to the individual units, common parts and signboards of buildings:-
- Section 24 Removal Orders;
- Section 26 Building Repair Orders/Section 26A Building Investigation Orders; and
- Section 28 Drainage Repair/Investigation Orders.
[To search for the issuance/compliance status of Mandatory Building Inspection Scheme/Mandatory Window Inspection Scheme Notices (MBIS/MWIS notices) issued by the BD to the common parts and individual units of target buildings; and the Fire Safety Directions (FS directions) issued by the BD or Fire Services Department to the common parts and individual units of target industrial buildings under Fire Safety (Industrial Buildings) Ordinance (Cap.636), please use this link.]
- The search can be made by using either "Order Number", "Address" or "Building Name".
- If no result can be found using Chinese address/building name, users may try the English address/building name or vice versa.
- The issuance/compliance status of Relevant Orders will be updated on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month.
- The status of Relevant Orders shown in the search results can be categorised as follows:
- "Outstanding" – Relevant Orders had not been complied with as at the date of update
- "Complied" – Relevant Orders had been complied with
- "Cancelled" – Relevant Orders had been cancelled
- "Superseded" – Relevant Orders had been superseded by another order
- Interested parties should consider making enquiries with the owners' corporation and/or individual owner concerned, the BD (2626 1616) (handled by "1823") for such information as necessary.
- Most of Relevant Orders have been registered in the Land Registry against the relevant property titles. There may be discrepancies in the search results in this website and the records of the Land Registry. In case of doubt, please contact the BD (2626 1616) (handled by "1823").
- It should be noted that premises without orders does not necessary mean that it is free of unauthorised building works. Advice from building professionals may be sought, where found necessary.
