POINTS TO NOTE
- This function allows users to search for the issuance/compliance status of Dangerous Hillside (DH) Orders issued under Section 27A of the Buildings Ordinance (Cap.123) by the Buildings Department (BD)* to the owner of the land or structure, or the person who under the terms of a Government lease is under an obligation to maintain the land or structure. (* for orders issued before 2021, users can only search for the information of "outstanding" orders.)
- The search can be made by using either "Order Number", "Lot Number" or "Feature Number".
- The issuance/compliance status of DH Orders will be updated on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month.
- The status of DH Orders shown in the search results could be categorised as follows:
- "Outstanding" – DH Orders had not been complied with as at the date of update
- "Complied" – DH Orders had been complied with
- "Cancelled" – DH Orders had been cancelled
- "Superseded" – DH Orders had been superseded by another order
- Interested parties should consider making enquiries with the owners' corporation and/or individual owner concerned, or the BD (2626 1616) (handled by "1823") for such information as necessary.
- Most of DH Orders have been registered in the Land Registry against the relevant property titles. There may be discrepancies in the search results in this website and the records of the Land Registry. In case of doubt, please contact the BD (2626 1616) (handled by "1823").
