For further details of the Mandatory Building and Window Inspection Schemes, you are welcome to attend any briefing session organized by this department in different districts. The schedule of the briefing sessions is as follows:

Notes:

  1. The briefing sessions will be conducted in Cantonese.
  2. Question and Answer will be available in Cantonese or English.
  3. Registration will commence 15 minutes before commencement of the briefing sessions.
  4. Seats will be available on first-come–first-served basis.
  5. In case the Pre-No. 8 special announcement / Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above / black rainstorm warning signal is issued and not lifted before 3:00pm on the day of event by the Hong Kong Observatory. The briefing scheduled to be held will be cancelled without further notice.

Other Relevant Briefing

"Central Platform on Building Management" briefings are set up by Home Affairs Department. Government departments and institutions are invited to introduce various services and schemes on building management and maintenance. Representative from Buildings Department has also been invited to introduce Mandatory Building and Window Inspection Schemes, questions and answers section is available.
