Terms of Reference

  1. To collect views and consider any comments or feedback received from the building industry arising from the use of the Code of Practice for Overall Thermal Transfer Value in Buildings 1995 and Guidelines on Design and Construction Requirements for Energy Efficiency of Residential Buildings 2014, relevant advancement in design, technologies and construction methods, and the latest relevant overseas regulatory control and standards; and to review the standards on OTTV and residential thermal transfer value under the Energy Saving Plan for Hong Kong's Built Environment 2015~2025+; and
  2. To advise and make recommendations to the Director of Buildings from time to time on the appropriate measures to be taken in response to item (i) above.
