Remarks:
"Practising Authorized Signatory" - a person appointed to act for a registered contractor for the purposes of the Buildings Ordinance.
"Former Authorized Signatory" - a person who was previously appointed to act for a registered contractor for the purposes of the Buildings Ordinance, but currently does not act for any registered contractor.
"Pre-accepted Authorized Signatory" - a person who has received preliminary acceptance by the Contractors Registration Committee, but has not yet been appointed to act for a registered contractor for the purposes of the Buildings Ordinance.

These registers are provided for public inspection to facilitate any member of the public to ascertain whether he is, in relation to any matter connected with any activity under the Buildings Ordinance (BO), dealing with a person/contractor registered under the BO. All personal data found therein should not be used for any other purposes.

- The persons in the List of "Practising Authorized Signatory, Former Authorized Signatory" and "Pre-accepted Authorized Signatory" may be required to attend an interview with the Contractors Registration Committee in accordance with Practice Note for Registered Contractors (PNRC 38) particular, if they have been appointed by a contractor to act for the purposes of Buildings Ordinance and are involved conviction/disciplinary/suspension incident, or they lack relevant job references.
