Special Work Arrangement of New Buildings Divisions of Buildings Department between 24 December 2020 to 6 January 2021

In view of the extension of the special work arrangement for government employees, the Buildings Department (BD) will continue to provide emergency services and essential public services until 6 January 2021.

BD's New Buildings Divisions (NBDs) including its Receipt and Dispatch Counter at 14 Taikoo Wan Road, Hong Kong will maintain the same service arrangement as that provided since 2 December 2020. For details, please refer to the "Notice to Registered Building Professionals and Registered Contractors" issued on 1 December 2020.

You may wish to note that facilitation measures "Measures for Facilitating Statutory Submissions under the Special Work Arrangement of NBDs of BD" have been adopted to process your statutory submissions to the NBDs under the special work arrangement. In this connection, your co-operation to follow the corresponding arrangements in the above facilitation measures is equally important.

BD will continue to closely liaise with the relevant professional institutions and stakeholder organisations when reviewing the above arrangement.
