In view of Government's announcement yesterday to gradually resume the provision of basic public services in a safe and orderly manner to meet the needs of the public and enterprises, the Buildings Department (BD) will gradually resume the provision of basic public services. For details, please refer to BD's press release.
Specifically, the Receipt and Dispatch Counter of New Buildings Divisions (NBDs) at 7/F, 14 Taikoo Wan Road, Hong Kong will be open from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm from Monday to Friday (except on public holidays) to replace the current drop-in counter services which operate three days a week for receipt of statutory submissions and related documents and forms for new building works, and for the applicants to collect the processed plans and related documents by appointment.
To facilitate processing of your statutory submissions to the NBDs, please follow the arrangements in the current list of BD's facilitation measures for handing statutory applications and related documents and forms for new building works under the special work arrangement of NBDs in BD website under the "Special work arrangement of New Buildings Divisions of Buildings Department in 2020" page of "Practice notes and circular letters" under "Codes and references" of the "Resources" section.
BD will continue to closely liaise with the relevant professional institutions and stakeholder organisations when reviewing the above arrangement.
