In view of the latest situation of the epidemic and in order to reduce the risk of social contacts and the spread of COVID-19 in the community, the Buildings Department (BD) will implement targeted social distancing and infection control measures with effect from 10 January 2022.
All AP/RSE Rooms in the New Buildings Divisions offices will remain open for limited use for receiving and collecting plans/calculations with prior appointment only. BD case officers will contact AP/RSE/RGE to clarify issues related to approval of plan submissions via telephone or email. Case conferences may also be conducted via video conferencing. All other public services (including the Receipt and Dispatch Counter services) will remain normal.
BD will continue to closely liaise with the relevant professional institutions and stakeholder organisations in our review of the above arrangement.
