To align with the work arrangement announced by the Government on 27 February 2020, the Buildings Department (BD), with the implementation of targeted measures to reduce social contact and infection control measures, has been gradually resuming more public services in an orderly manner.
The services to be provided at the office of the BD’s New Buildings Divisions at 14 Taikoo Wan Road, Hong Kong will remain the same as in the past week. For details, please refer to the Notice to Registered Building Professionals and Registered Contractors issued on 7 March 2020.
Regarding the services to be provided at the Buildings Department Headquarters, North Tower, West Kowloon Government Offices, 11 Hoi Ting Road, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, please refer to BD's press release dated 14 March 2020 for details.
BD will continue to closely liaise with the relevant professional institutions and stakeholder organisations in our review on the above arrangement.
