Training Courses for Registration as Registered Minor Works Contractor (RMWC)

1. The registration of minor works contractors in association with the introduction of the Minor Works Control System has been scheduled to commence in late 2009.

2. There are three training courses relating to the registration of minor works contractors :

• This course is for a person who would like to act as the Authorized Signatory for an RMWC registered under the name of a company.
  
• This course is for a person intending to register as an RMWC for the carrying out of Class III minor works registered under the name of an individual .
  
• This course is for a person, being an Authorized Signatory of a Registered Specialist Contractor in the Ventilation Works Category, and intending to act as an Authorized Signatory for an RMWC registering in Type E minor works (i.e. Works relating to Structures for Amenities).
