Areas within private properties dedicated for public use

Some areas within some private properties in Hong Kong are dedicated for public passage by an agreement made between the owner of the respective property and the Government. A deed of dedication is executed for this purpose. In addition to public passage, some of these dedicated areas may also be permitted for other uses as specified in the deed.

This webpage aims to provide information of these dedicated areas for public reference. We will from time to time update and add on more information to the list, including location plans of the dedicated areas as well as new sites subject to deed of dedication. For enquiries, please call 3162 0936 (Office hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. from Monday to Friday, except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) or fax to 3162 0948.
